Today I will be writing about some tips to better cake baking
- All ingredients should be room temperature. Around 60 mins out of fridge
- To create a replacement for buttermilk add 1 Teaspoon of vinegar to every 1 cup of milk
- Unless the recipe says different use unsalted butter for your batter
- When creaming butter and sugar get the mixture to a pale yellow it will take around 5 minutes
- Always Start and end with dry ingredients when alternating
- Beat egg yolks before adding to batter
- Rotate cakes after 20 minutes of baking
- When making a chocolate cake instead of coating your pan with butter and flour coat it with butter and cocoa powder
