I promise I am not purposely making all these lemon dishes I am just really secretly in the mood for lemon.
Happy July! and July means Ice Cream month!! This week we are starting off with this simple 3 ingredient creamy sweet and sour delectable ice cream!!
1/3 Cup Lemon Juice
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 1/4 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
*optional: I used a smear of Wilton Gel Lemon Yellow to make the ice cream have a tint of yellow*
Combine sugar and lemon in a small bowl
In a bigger bowl whip the whipping cream with a whisk until it thickens and has soft peaks
Whisk the the lemon mixture into the whipping cream and whisk until soft peak appear again
Put into freezer proof container for 6 hours
