Welcome to week 2 of Ice Cream Month! This week I made blackberry ice cream! It had the perfect amount of blackberry flavor and not overly sweet! Something nice and light to the hips and nice and cold for that humid hot day. If you don't like the seeds in the blackberries try any other kind of berry.
*TIP: This ice cream gets very hard when in the freezer so if you are wanting some quick scoop it out before it fully freezes or let it sit for a good 10-15 mins after taking it out*
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 bag of frozen blackberries
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cups of powdered sugar
Whisk your heavy whipping cream until it is thick add in your sugar and whisk it again for another minute.
Whisk in your milk and vanilla until it is fully mixed together.
Food processor your frozen blackberries until cream and then mix into ice cream batter.
Freeze for 8 hours or over night
