County Crock Review

I received Country Crock from the Influenster program for testing purposes.

Now I am an avid butter user, I was raised on butter and bought only butter when I moved out.  So when I got this coupon I thought why the heck not and try it with one of my cookie recipes.

I do love how it is always soft and the price difference is also amazing.

Now I made my main cookie recipe and it turn out quite different, it was more cakey and my family was not to fond of them.  I will find another use for this maybe to use on pancakes?

I do like the taste of the margarine and as I said the price difference from butter but it just didn't do it's job with the cookies.

I will be sticking with butter.

Review: Kraft Recipe Makers. Chicken Bruschetta Pasta

I personally have always had success with Kraft products.  I personally love products like this because it is simple and fast and last night was one of those nights filled with homework, crabby/hungry kids and I needed a quick meal

I don't know the cost of this meal, I actually got this at my kids school to try because it was new! So I thought why not, I will try it.

It is very simple.  You cook and shred/cup up your chicken and cook your pasta and mix it in with the sauces they provide.  I was very surprised how fresh it tasted.  We don't eat many things out of a can/bottle/boxes because sometimes the taste is so fake tasting but last night my whole family shoveled down this meal and there was not a drop left.

Like I said it was very simple to make and was done within 20 mins.  It was very fresh tasting and the whole family loved it.  We will be buying this again

Review: COCOZIA 100% Organic Coconut water

I got an email from Diana who is in the Marketing Department with Epicurex LLC.  They produce amazing organic beverages and I was asked to taste one of their products and review it.

This is how they describe it.

  • COCOZIA® 100% Organic Coconut Water
  • Contains a natural abundance of potassium and magnesium, as well as other electrolytes.
  • USDA Organic, Natural Coconut Water
  • NON GMO Verified, Gluten Free
  • KOSHER

Now I cannot express how refreshing this drink is.  It is truly amazing and makes me miss the taste of a real coconut water.  I have only had it a few times and I have seen and tried other products but to tell you the truth, they do not compare to this brand, it is just that good.  I will be buying this product a lot more now for sure.  The taste is true to the flavor and that is what I love and the packaging is simple and easy to drink from.  Thank you the opportunity and letting me try your wonderful product.

I give it 5 forks out of 5

Review: Red Fork Sloppy Joe Mix

Disclaimer: I am not being asked to do this nor being paid to do it.  This is my own doing and my own words.

Now I am picky about sloppy joes.  We don't make them all the time but I make them once every few months because the kids enjoy them.  Now I am a person who doesn't like Manwich.  I dislike any thing canned I really do so I always make it home made and they are great!  I seen this package at the store so I decided to try it, why not?

At my store this is $2.87 and it is simple you add this mix in with your cooked meat and a can of tomato sauce.  It has natural ingredients, no preservatives and had roasted tomatoes and garlic. To me I wouldn't buy it again.  It was ok, very tangy tasting it just wasn't my choice of taste.  I would buy it again but would add my own flair to it to try to get rid of the tang.

I give it 2 forks out of 5.

Betty Crocker pizza crust Review

Disclaimer: I am not being asked to do this nor being paid to do it.  This is my own doing and my own words.

So I thought I would do something new.  Reviews!
I thought I would start off with something simple and that is pizza crust.  We buy this from time to time when we are in a hurry and tonight was one of those nights.  We were bombarded with home work with the girls and plus reading so I was looking for a quick dinner and this was it.  I had an extra two packs of these sitting around so I decided to use them up.

It is very simple you throw it into a bowl and put 1/2 cup of warm water into it, mix, cover and let sit for 5 mins.  After that you roll it and stretch it out until it forms to the size you want.  I made mine a personal pizza extra thin the way I like it and then made a regular size pizza for the family and then made a 10 inch with the rest of it that I didn't use for mine.

It only costs around $1.23 for one package and it is decently good.  I wouldn't be like oh my goodness it is the best crust I ever had but it is good. We all like it and it is actually a good thicker crust and is soft if cooked right not overly crunchy.

I give it 3 forks out of 5
