Chicken and Dumpling * Stacy's Recipe*

A good friend gave me this recipe i did tweak it a little bit but not much at all! it was the best i ever had!! Even my 2 year old ate so i feel like i should give her a gift or something cause i cannot even get her to eat dinner period haha.

3 chicken Breast
7 Cups of Water
1 1/2 Cups chicken broth
2 cans of cream of chicken
1/3 Corn Starch
1 Carrot
1 Celery Stick
1/2 Onion
2 Cans of  Buttermilk Biscuits

Directions
Put the 7 cups of water into the Pot and cut up chicken and put into pot *make sure the chicken is covered up by the water if not add another cup*
When chicken is done and not pink add in 1 cup of the chicken broth. Put 1/2 cup of broth into a cup and mix in the corn starch and whisk into the soup.  Then add your cream of chicken soup and all the veges and bring to boil for about 5-10 mins.  Cut up each biscuits in 6 pieces * i like them a lil smaller*  let them boil until they swell up and are squishy. I let them boil for about 5 mins then stir.Salt and Pepper to taste

It gets really hot so i let it cool for abouts 20 mins and let is cool and thicken.

  2. made this tonight and it is fabulous. thx for a great recipe. :) I however added a bag of frozen peas and carrots instead of just the one carrot and everyone loved it.
